Price Hill Prevention Coalition
Building on the strong, trusted relationships that Healthy Homes has built over the last three years, we are in the process of developing the Price Hill Prevention Coalition (PHPC). The PHPC is being developed with and by community members. The PHPC will educate families on the importance of developing healthy communication with their children, as young as three years old, that will serve as a guide for building resiliency, problem solving skills and healthy habits. The Coalition will work with and through families living in East and Lower Price Hill to delay (or prevent) the “first use” age of children and give parents the tools and skills they need to navigate difficult conversations with their children as young as three. Healthy Homes is partnering with Prevention First and the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America’s (CADCA) National Coalition Institute to incorporate their proven strategies for developing effective coalitions that address and mitigate substance abuse issues. If you are interested in becoming a coalition member or learning about upcoming trainings andevents please call our office at 513.254.0612.
